The title IN SEARCH OF PEACE comes from a visit to Jerusalem in the year 2000, when the Middle East crisis was just beginning. 

The seeds of a musical idea were sown - to reach out through peaceful music performed with backing tracks in a variety of venues – and to encourage people to search for peace for themselves, their neighbours and the world. It took three years to complete the writing and recording.

I would be really pleased if this music helped people in countries all over the world to reflect, pray and meditate on the need for peace in our time.

Psalm 122 says “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”

That was written over 2,500 years ago; we still need to pray.

Psalm 85 says this:

"I will hear what the Lord God has to say,
a voice that speaks of peace,
peace for his people and his friends
and those who turn to him in their hearts.

His help is near for those who fear him
and his glory will dwell in our land."

That gives me hope.
